Plugin test: orders & refunds

After installing, you have to first test and integrate the plugin on a staging environment. Follow the steps in the next pages to test your integration.

PLACE AN ORDER

Use the customer accounts and card accounts o place an order in the staging environment. You can test both a success and a failure.

  • Choose a product. Has to be below maximum amount
  • Fill up cart with fake data. Address should comply with our countries limitation
  • Select Scalapay at checkout as a payment methods
  • Login to Scalapay with a staging user
  • Insert testing cards data to complete order
  • Confirm that you've been redirected on the confirmation page of your site

How to: refund an order

RREFUND A SPECIFIC ORDER

Important

If you can't see the refund option, be aware that you have to activate it first

GO TO ADMIN BACKEND

  • Select Sales (from left menu)
  • Select Orders

SELECT AND OPEN A SPECIFIC ORDER THAT HAS TO BE REFUNDED:

  • Select order “view”
  • Select “Invoices” from left menu under Order view
  • View/open the invoice to be refunded
  • Click on the “Credit Memo” button from the top menu
  • Click on the “Refund” button (at the bottom of the page) to refund the specified amount

Important

You can also choose “Refund Offline” to not refund the customer through Scalapay process
