Test your configuration

🚧

WARNING !

Testing is the most important part of the integration process.

The following criteria are an easy guide to check if your Scalapay Installation was successful.

❶ Follow our Best Practice and check if the widget has been correctly configured

Make sure that the Scalapay installation follows our guidelines in [Best Practice and Guidelines Page]

❷ Make sure all the checkout process is correctly working

✔ Check the correct redirection to Scalapay site/app at checkout

✔ Check that the cart still contains the products I have added, if I go back from Scalapay site

✔ Check if an order is approved by Scalapay, it's also created in the e-commerce admin panel

✔ Check if an order is NOT approved by Scalapay, no order is created in the e-commerce admin panel

✔ Check that order information are correct in the e-commerce admin panel

✔ Check every other payment method is still available

✔ Check is NOT possible to complete an order Scalapay, if a session is expired

✔ All prices should be displayed with a comma on product detail page, cart page and checkout page.

✔ Scalapay text should change when the language changes on product detail page, cart page and checkout page.

✔ When you increase (or decrease) product quantity, Scalapay price increases (or decreases) as well

✔ If you have completed an order on your site make sure that the order is present on your dedicated Scalapay (if
you have requested any) AND the Merchant Reference is present underneath the Order Token

✔ Check is NOT possible to complete an order Scalapay, if a session is expired. To test this you can either wait
for the session to expire on the e-commerce platform or copy the ‘checkout?token=<>’ URL and attempt to
complete the order on another browser that doesn’t have the session cookie on the browser

❸ Check the order in Scalapay Integration Partner Portal

If you have one, visit your Scalapay Integration Partner Portal (sandbox) to confirm the order appears in your dashboard.
